Many leaves have brown edges, and the upper branches have dead twigs on the ends. Is there a magic bullet to green it up? Someone mentioned Epsom salt. F.H., Houston A: Hurricane Ike and last year's drought and heat took heavy tolls on our trees. This year's rains have helped, but we need to do more. Good culture is the best route to help trees develop new feeder roots and regain vigor. Water slowly and deeply during dry conditions. Fertilize and prune properly to encourage better tree health....
